The Look of Love

It's Saturday, I'm using my employees ( thanks Sam ) Hulu account and scrolling down the myriad of movies & shows that I don't want to watch, Steve Coogan catches my eye ( nice catch Steve! ). The film is called The Look of Love. I've been passively wanting to watch another movie with him in it since The Other Guys, opportunity strikes!

I start watching, first scene is slow - I fast forward 6 minutes, oops I'm a bit lost now. Back to the beginning.

*Cue movie summary*

The film is a biography of Paul Raymond ( Steve Coogan ), an English entrepreneur ( I still use auto correct to spell entrepreneur properly ) who made great British tons ( lots of pounds ) first through strip clubs and then buying up a whole lotta real estate. So many boobs. I think I've seen all the boobs there is after this movie. Now Hulu had sold me the movie as a comedy and while you're chuckling throughout the movie you are left sad when it is over. I found the movie touching and full of little gems, I give it a 8/10.

*Cue the intro for a Tale of Two Cities*

" It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way--in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only. "
