When it's good it's good n' when it's bad it's bad

-Biz Talk-

In my experience so far when businesses is going good you are coasting, yeah there might be work galore but it's good work. Doing the good deed of sales and completing the process.

It hasn't been any harder work wise when business is going steadily up. You just push more orders through the pipeline.

When business is hard and sales or operations are kicking you in the shin and running away, you have to put in a whopping ton more work just to keep your margins above water. So yeah hard work does not equal profit. Not directly at least. Very often HARD ( the kind of hard that gives you headaches and moonlights as a sleep thief, the kind of hard that makes you want to kill yourself and the kind of hard that dims your mind and lights up the focus on what's in front of you. Stress in a one word form, which stress is good because it focuses you but to an extent. ) work equals you staying alive and profit comes when your sowing is paying off or the conditions for your industry are favorable.

Do you disagree? I don't care. I don't even have a comments option, but if you want to showcase your opinions and lighten my views to a certain angle, I'm on twitter and my email is on the site.
